Nebulas and rock stars?
In science and music, the marriage of powerful forces combine to create something beautiful.  Everything is in a state of vibration. Carbon, oxygen, and iron helped create the stars and man. This painting symbolizes the evolution of the universe, the evolution of man, and the evolution of rock. In an inky, carbon canvas, the blue symbolizes the first generation of stars lighting up the universe and the birth of nebulae. Colors explode to show the power of music and energy from a vibrating string. 
Using rock music as a portal to the stars, I created this painting using rhythm, movement, and repetition; ingredients used in rock music, painting, and science.
